Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 May 2026

This policy describes how Bidwork uses cookies and similar browser-based storage technologies on our Platform.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and other browser-based mechanisms that store small pieces of data on your device. Collectively we refer to these as "cookies" in this Policy. Bidwork uses a combination of these technologies to ensure the Platform operates correctly and to remember your preferences.

2. What we use

Bidwork uses two categories of cookies: • Essential cookies — required for the core service to function. Without them, some or all features of the Platform may be unavailable. • Functional cookies — used to remember your preferences, such as your chosen display language. We also use browser local storage to store your cookie consent preference so we do not ask you repeatedly.

3. Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Platform to deliver its core functionality. They are set automatically when you use the service and remain active while your session is ongoing or for a limited period as required to provide continuity of service. Disabling or deleting essential cookies through your browser settings may mean that some or all features of the Platform are unavailable to you.

4. Functional cookies

We use a functional cookie to store your language preference. This means the Platform loads in your preferred language (Greek or English) without you needing to select it each time you visit. This cookie does not track your browsing activity across other websites.

5. Analytics and marketing cookies

We do not currently place analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. However, our payment provider (Stripe) may set cookies or use browser storage in connection with payment processing when you interact with the payment flow. These are used solely to enable the payment service and are governed by Stripe's own Cookie Policy. If we introduce additional analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required by applicable law, ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device. Any such cookies would only be activated after you consent.

6. Managing cookies

You can review and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view what cookies are stored, block future cookies, or delete existing ones. Consult your browser's help documentation for specific instructions. Please be aware that disabling certain cookies may affect how the Platform functions for you.

7. Contact

If you have questions about how we use cookies or similar technologies, you can contact us via Help & Support after signing in to your account.
